KUALA LUMPUR: Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng called on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak here yesterday.

The two leaders had talks for about an hour at the prime minister’s office at Parliament House.
Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Lee Chee Leong said one of the topics of their talks was the economy.
“This is a personal visit of the Singapore deputy prime minister and the discussions were more of a friendly conversation,” he said.
Wong, who is also home minister, was scheduled to meet with Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and several cabinet ministers yesterday evening. — Bernama
