KUALA LUMPUR: Police do not dismiss the possibility that the foetus found in a plastic container at the entrance of the Foo Yan temple near Jinjang Utara, Jinjang here on Monday, could have been used for some kind of sacrificial ritual.Sentul police chief ACP Zakaria Pagan said for now police were classifying the case as concealment of birth and causing death but did not rule out the sacrificial ritual angle.

“The post-mortem found the foetus to be between four and five months old,” he told Bernama when contacted yesterday.

He added that no arrests had yet been made in connection with the case. — Bernama
