MIRI: The decomposing body of a 58-year-old man was found lying face down on the ground in a wooden house at Pujut Seven on Monday morning.
FOUND DEAD: The body being taken from the house yesterday.
Lee Min Keng, believed to be mentally unsound, was said to have been suffering from hypertension for a long time.
The discovery was made around 6.30am by his 61-year-old brother who had gone to Batu Niah May 1 on a three-day trip.
He was shocked by the discovery upon his return yesterday and immediately informed Miri Police who rushed to the scene.
The deceased had been living with his brother as he was a bachelor.
His body was sent to Miri Hospital for a postmortem.
The case has been classified as sudden death.
Lee’s brother lodged a police report at Miri Central Police station (CPS) at 10am yesterday.
