Headed by Deputy Home Minister Datuk Wira Abu Seman Yusop, members of the panel took the routes taken by the victim to the scene at Jalan 11/2G, Section 11 here.

The panel members, who were taken by a coach to the scene, earlier stopped at the Kayangan roundabout, the Ali Corner Restaurant at Jalan Platinum G 7/G, Section 7, the PKNS Complex traffic light and the Sirim Building.

In the incident at about 2am on April 26, Aminulrasyid Amzah died after being shot by a police patrol team when he was said to have tried to escape when he was being stopped at Section 11, Shah Alam.

“We came here tonight to see for ourselves the scene of the incident to understand the situation better. We will probably come back in the day time,” he added.

Present was Shah Alam CID chief DSP Kamaruddin Ismail.

On a claim by a resident, Wan A Rahim Wan Tajudin, 54, who came to meet the panel that he was the second person to arrive at the scene, Abu Seman said he would leave the matter to the police.
