Penang BN reps to table motion on Israel attack

PENANG: Barisan Nasional (BN), through its 11 representatives, will table a motion at the Penang state assembly sitting, scheduled in August, to condemn the recent attack by the Zionist regime on the Freedom Flotila convoy.State BN chairman Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, in a statement here today, described the attack on the convoy of aid ships as ‘inhuman’.

“The attack resulted in many deaths and injuries to members of the convoy, who were from 32 countries.

“The attack was cruel and against the principles on humanitarian, justice and international relations,” he added.

Koh, who is Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, said the motion had been approved by the Penang BN at a meeting on Tuesday night.

Koh said the state BN Youth and Wanita wings would launch a donation drive adding that the contributions would be sent to Gaza through Aman Malaysia. — Bernama
