SIBU: A labourer from Belaga was wheeled into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sibu Hospital for suspected meliodosis disease yesterday.
The 24-year-old from Belaga had earlier complained to his family about stomachache, headache and difficulty in breathing.
He was taken to the hospital in Kapit on Friday and admitted.
However, as his conditions did not improve, the hospital transferred him to Sibu.
The youth was admitted to Sibu Hospital at 3pm yesterday.
