SIBU: A 42-year-old woman accountant reported a relative to the police after the latter stopped her from visiting her mother.
She went to her mother’s house around 11pm recently but was prevented from entering the house by a relative.
In her police report, she said the relative had also pushed her causing her to fall and sustain slight injuries.
In a separate case, a 26-year-old office worker lodged a police report saying a debt collector had threatened her family.
She told the police her father had borrowed RM90,000 from a man for a business venture sometime last year.
Her father’s business did not fare well and he could only pay back RM8,500.
The debt collector called at the family’s house recently and threatened to harm the family and set fire to their house if the debt was not settled.
