Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said research in Malay customs should try to find similarities between the two monarchy systems.

“We will continue to foster closer bilateral and cultural ties via the creative industry as it can help the Asean community to progress,” he said after watching ‘Malam Gala Titian Budaya Malaysia-Brunei’ at Istana Budaya tonight.

His wife Datin Seri Masnah and Brunei Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Paduka Awang Haji Hazair Abdullah were also present.
