KUALA LUMPUR: Police have recovered part of the money reported missing from a fastfood restaurant here following the arrest of three men, one of them an employee.
Brickfields police chief ACP Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid said yesterday the men, aged between 22 and 26, were held in Kampung Sungai Serai, Hulu Langat, on Oct 27.
The police recovered from them RM26,550 of the RM47,324 reported missing, he said.
An employee realised that the money was missing on Oct 23 and a check revealed that there was no break-in, he said.
Wan Abdul Bari said those arrested had criminal records. — Bernama
