Four counts of drug possession cost man eight months’ imprisonment

SIBU: A 47-year-old man was sentenced to eight months’ jail by the magistrates’ court here yesterday for four counts of drug possession.

Teh Siaw Pau was also ordered to undergo two years of supervision.

He was arrested on Aug 1, 2008 at 6.15pm at a coffee shop in Maju Road.

Teh was caught having 0.21g of methamphetamine (Syabu) at 11.15pm on March 9 last year at a hotel parking lot in Lanang Road.

In another case in the same court, a 33-year-old man was fined RM2,500 also for drug possession.

Like the previous case, Lee Ung Kuoh was required to undergo two years’ supervision.

He was caught at 1am on Oct 21, 2008 in Mandam Road. In his possession were methylenedioxymethamph etamine (MDMA) and ketamine.
