KAPIT: Chiang Chuan Association will organise a three-in-one function — New Year Gathering, Pesta Ang Pow and Children’s Education Fund – on Jan 22 at Chong Seng Food Court.
This was decided during a recent committee meeting chaired by chairman Ma Tian Kock.
Peter Soh was appointed as event organising chairman.
The Children’s Education Fund will present cash incentives for Primary 1 to Primary 5 pupils who excelled in their studies, as well as those who had excellent results for all public school exams.
Those eligible can obtain forms from Ma and the closing date for submission is Jan 10.
Senior members aged 45 and above will receive angpows to mark the coming Chinese New Year celebration.
Ma said it was also to appreciate their great contribution to their families and the community.
