Civil servants told to give feedback on PTK replacement

KUALA LUMPUR: The Public Service Department (PSD) has called on civil servants to give their feedback on a suitable format and criteria for a new competency assessment system to replace the Competency Level Assessment (PTK).

In a posting on its website, the department said this was in line with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s announcement when tabling the 2011 Budget in October that the PTK would be abolished and replaced by a more suitable assessment system acceptable to civil servants by June 2011.

Civil servants can give their feedback and inputs on the matter by answering the online questionnaire available on the website.

The questionnaire is divided into three parts, namely respondent’s information, proposed assessment methods and new assessment criteria, which must be answered completely by the respondents. — Bernama
