UCSI students serve fine-dining lunch

KUCHING: Students in the Faculty of Hospitality and Management at UCSI University, Sarawak Campus are preparing and serving fine-dining lunch at its UCSI Coffee Bar and Bistro.

The fine-dining lunch offers a choice of either local or western food is available every Monday to Thursday.

The lunch set comes with three-course meal and is served with either coffee or tea. The local menu is priced at RM12 per person while the western lunch is priced at RM15 per person.

The students themselves will personally prepare all the dishes as part of their culinary training. These dishes will also be served as part of their banquet training. They will be closely monitored and guided by their lecturers and tutors when preparing the lunches.

Lunch is served between 12noon to 2pm and it is open to university students and staff as well as the public.

The UCSI Coffee Bar and Bistro is located in the UCSI University, Sarawak Campus premises at Jalan Tun Jugah in Kuching.

It is open to the public and the business hour is from 7am to 3pm every Monday to Friday.

The bistro is manned by two full time chefs and serves a wide selection of local and western dishes, which are all affordably priced.
