Let MPH come to you

KUCHING: If you are building a library, MPH can help stock your shelves through their Corporate & Library Services (CLS) division by helping select appropriate books according to budget and needs of companies and libraries.

MPH is giving away book vouchers and free MPH Reader Circle membership as lucky draw prizes.

This initiative echoes their motto of ‘Where MPH comes to you’.

Some companies have resources available but are dated and require the latest information. CLS is able to guide in this area.

Be it a private or government, corporate or educational institution, in or out of Klang Valley, CLS is there to assist as it is located in four major regions: Central division (covering Selangor and Klang Valley), Northern division (Penang, Kedah, Perlis and Perak), Southern division (Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Johore) and East Malaysia division (Sabah and Sarawak).

“Our role as a knowledge provider is not confined to the four walls within our outlet. In today’s world, companies are more keen and willing to invest in human capital.

“Having a library in a company is not a luxury but a means of rewarding the staff while encouraging intellectual development.

CLS is an extension of help from MPH Bookstores for companies as libraries that wish to set up a library have no idea how to get started. With the support of MPH Bookstores and all the major publishers, CLS is able to meet all customer needs with competitive offers,” said Nora Chabo.

To-date, CLS has built resource centres for Tun Hussein Onn Library at Sunway University, University Tun Abdul Razak (Cap Square Branch), Monash University Sunway Campus Library and Learning Commons, and Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College Library.
