KUCHING: Sarawak Football Die Hard Fans (Sadiehaf) is proposing a special travel package for supporters outside Kuching and Samarahan to make their way to Sarawak Stadium here for the Crocs’ first Premier League home match against Harimau Muda B on Feb 11.

BRIMMING WITH CONFIDENCE: Sarawak’s players during a training session yesterday.

The inaugural programme, according to Sadiehaf, is aimed to revive the glorious support, which the state team experienced in the 90s.

“The presence of supporters will inject the fighting spirit into the state team in their bid for a promotion into the Super League next season,” said Sadiehaf general manager Hairul Faizee.

Regarding the package, Sadiehaf is ready to make arrangements for transportation, accommodation and tickets at a reasonable price for supporters from Miri, Bintulu, Sibu, Sarikei, Betong and Sri Aman.

“For a start, we are planning to provide five buses from Miri to Sri Aman.

“If the response (from the fans) is good, more of this programme will be carried out in the future,” added Hairul.

He also said supporters from Miri have given their immediate response and pledged to attend the match.

“They will be leaving the oil city at 10pm on Feb 10 and are expected to arrive in Kuching at 10am the following day for the 4.15pm match,” said Hairul.
