Speaking to The Borneo Post here yesterday, PRS secretary-general Datuk Wilfred Rata Nissom said: “The delegation seeks the prime minister’s (agreement) on the allocation of seats which will be honoured.”

Nissom disclosed that besides himself, the other members of the delegation were party president Dato Sri Dr James Masing, deputy president Datuk Joseph Entulu Belaun and vice- president Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum.

It is understood that the meeting took place in the prime minister’s office in Putrajaya on Wednesday.

Nissom said with the assurance of the prime minister who is also
the Barisan Nasional chairman, PRS would maintain its nine state seats, namely, Balai Ringin, Bukit Begunan, Batang Ai, Belaga, Baleh, Tamin, Kakus and Pelagus.

When asked how Pelagus incumbent Larry Sng would fit into PRS, Nissom said the issue should not arise as he (Sng) was no longer a member of the party.
