Towards this end, business talks and courses will continue to be held from time to time.

Yesterday, 15 participants from the Iban, Bidayuh and Orang Ulu community attended a two-day business talk conducted by Morni Tambah.

Before the talk, DCCI vice-president Dr Eric Munyan ñ who is also Manpower Development Committee chairman ñ stressed the importance for the Dayak community to catch up and learn from their Chinese business counterparts.

The participants were staff of the various companies owned by DCCI members.

“From time to time, we will conduct business courses and talks, to develop among our community the skills of doing business,” said DCCI operation manager George Gawing Abit.

He said even though priority would be given to DCCI members, non-members were also welcome to attend the free courses.
