SURVIVAL SKILL: Participants in a cooking competition.
SIBU: A total of 172 students of SMK Luar Bandar No. 1 Sibu took part in a motivation camp held recently at the school compound.
They were members of the school’s uniformed bodies, such as the Persatuan Kadet Bersatu Malaysia, Kadet Bomba, Kadet Remaja Sekolah, Kadet Pertahanan Awam, Girls Guides, Red Crescent, Scouts and Police Cadet.
Coordinating the event were the Police Cadet and the Red Crescent. Activities included jungle trekking, treasure hunt, a variety of games, aerobic exercise, a cooking competition and a lion dance contest.
Kadet Remaja Sekolah emerged the overall champion with the scouts taking the second place and Persatuan Kadet Bersatu Malaysia in third.
