KAPIT: The Kapit Kwang Tung Association youth wing will conduct trimonthly blood donation drives.
Youth chief Kong Cheak Hie said this during the association’s first blood donation drive on Tuesday evening at the Kapit Hospital Blood Bank.
“Through regular blood donation campaigns, we’re trying to educate members of the public to come forward to donate their blood for the needy.
“Previously, few of our youths were willing to volunteer to donate blood, but now the scenario has changed. We receive a good response each time there’s a blood donation,” he said.
He called on more youths to support this worthy cause to help patients in need.
