MIRI: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth chief Datuk Fadillah Yusoff yesterday voiced out his confidence over BN-PBB’s N62 Lambir candidate Ripin Lamat in
the coming state election.
“He is friendly and approachable, as seen during the campaigning period when he went down on the ground meeting the people,” said Fadillah.
Fadillah was at Kampung Sungai Dalam Batu 8, Lambir, with BN-PBB’s candidate Ripin campaigning.
When asked on Ripin’s campaign strategy, Fadillah described it as unique, adding Ripin was able to meet the people at grassroots level.
“He (Ripin) approaches the people from house to house, village to village, regardless of their locality,” he said.
Fadillah added such approach would help and enable Ripin in getting to know the people (of Lambir).
“It helps Ripin to plan development for the local folks in accordance with their needs,” he said.
On his winning chances, he said, ”Insyallah, we can win Lambir…I am confident the Rakyat will give us the mandate.”
