KOTA KINABALU: The stretch of Gaya Street here between Fong IP Cafe and Bank Simpanan Nasional will be closed to traffic from 2pm today (April 16) to 6am tomorrow, said Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK).
DBKK public relations officer Syron Tunggolou said the road closure was to pave way for the City Hall’s ceremony to declare the Gaya Street weekly market as a zero-rubbish event.
The event will be officiated by Mayor Datuk Abidin Madingkir, she said in a statement yesterday.
