TYT’s policy speech stresses on continued development

KOTA KINABALU: Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan is of the opinion that the Government’s policy speech stresses on its continued effort to develop the state in various fields.

It also showed that strengthening the communities’ unity will also be given priority by the Government, he said when met after the opening of the State Assembly sitting here yesterday.

The Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin’s speech, the Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) president said, revealed that State Government’s policies and approaches focused on developing important fields towards bringing changes to Sabah.

Speaking to the media, Pairin said the policy speech reflects just how much the Government cares about the people and this is in line with the 1Malaysia concept of ‘People first, Performance Now”.

According to him, the speech stressed on the Government’s long-term plans, its implementation and achievements which focus on the younger generations who are also not left out in its development plans.
