KUCHING: St Paul’s Church Parish at Siol Kandis will be organising a joggerthon this Saturday at Kampung Siol Kandis here.
Besides their parishioners, the joggerthon is also opened to members of other parishes.
Parish priest Reverend Jugah Adi is expected to flag off the run from the church entrance at 6.30am.
The joggerthon is divided into men’s and women’s junior (aged 49 and below) and senior (aged 50 and above) categories.
There is also a children’s mixed category for participants aged 7 to 12.
Winners of the joggerthon will receive cash prizes and hampers.
The event is held to promote the participation of members of the church in recreational and sports activities for healthier body and mind.
Besides joggerthon, the Parish will also hold a mini parish sale from 8am to 12pm. All members of the public are welcome.
