The innovative Mamirobot Plus is currently on special offer of RM999 per unit (normal price RM1,222), suitable for working or busy mothers who find little time for house chores after a long day at work, explained KoTech director Jenny Son.
“We want to celebrate Mother’s Day by offering the Mamirobot at this special price,” she said, adding that the offer is only valid for the first 10 units.
The Mamibot, which comes in red, is an automatic vacuum cleaner unit that can be programmed to clean a room when you are out working or shopping.
It also features a dustcloth function to perform both vacuuming and mopping. Five pieces of cloth refills will be included with every Mamibot purchased.
The Mamibot also has anti-bacteria function like a filter frame, dustbin and dustcloth base to keep bacteria from getting inside the robot.
“Every purchase of the Mamibot also comes with 100 pieces of anti bacteria filter,” Son said.
If your mum is a little more hands-on with the housework, she might also appreciate the ACE Electronics’ AV-701B, a wireless vacuum cleaner with a removable hand-held component.
Available in white and blue, the vacuum cleaner is currently available at a festive promotion price of RM299 (normal price RM344).

Son said that the wireless vacuum cleaner is handy because there is no wire to impede your movements.
“You don’t have to stop and change the power outlets when you move about the house,” she remarked on the popular Korean appliance that is being exported to over 10 countries.
Running on a Panasonic brand rechargeable battery pack, the unit takes between six to eight hours to charge, and comes installed with an over-charge prevention circuit. The running time is between 20 to 25 minutes.
According to Son, this is more than enough as the wireless feature allows you to move throughout the house quickly.
“You can also detach it to use as a handy vacuum to clean the furniture or corners with the crevice tool, or use it as a stick vacuum to clean the floor,” she told The Borneo Post.
