SIBU: Form 1 student Lau Ping Ping, from Berjaya Road, has been missing since May 5.

Her mother lodged a police report on May 6 and said she suspected her 12-year-old daughter had gone out with her 19-year-old boyfriend Yung Jian Guok in the early morning.

Madam Tang Chin Chao, 54, discovered that Lau was not in her bedroom at 6am, and immediately made several phone calls to her friends and relatives to ask about her whereabouts but to no avail.

It was believed that police had gone to Yung’s house in Camar Road but could not locate him.

Lau is five feet tall and has shoulder-length hair.

She has a dark complexion.

In another missing case, a jobless man is appealing to his wife to come home.

She was said to have left their rented house in Pedada Road on April 15 with their two sons.

Sii Huo Hook, 41, said his Kenyah wife Mersi Siang, 30, had gone out at 9.30am with a Kenyah female friend and brought along their children Micheal Mersi, 2, and Welly Lee Wong, 4.

After a futile search, Sii lodged a police report on May 6.

Mersi has shoulder-length hair.
