KUCHING: A 19-year-old driving a car died on the spot while his friend suffered multiple injuries in a head-on collision with another car in Samarahan around 8pm Friday.

Chung Sak Yieng was heading to Kuching-Serian Road from Kota Samarahan when the accident happened.
Due to the impact of the crash, Chung and his friend were stuck in the car.
Fire and Rescue personnel from 19th Mile rushed to the scene after receiving a call.
Chung died at the scene while his friend was sent to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for treatment.
Police are investigating.
