Two men enter car porch and smash luxury cars

SIBU: A woman had the shock of her life when two armed men stormed into her car porch in Brooke Drive and smashed the windows and windscreens of two luxury cars around 9am yesterday.

She had returned to the house to open the gate for workmen to do  renovation on the house.

She parked her car in the house compound with the car engine running.

Shortly, two men turned up on a motorcycle and proceeded  to  smash  the cars windscreens and windows.

The 40-year-old woman came out of the house and started to scream.

She told reporters at the police station that one of the men was holding a long weapon that looked like a knife.

When the other man who held a stick wrapped in newspaper gestured at her, she dashed back into the house and locked the door.

They attempted to splash paint on the house but sped off when a neighbour appeared, she said.

“Both of them had a helmet on. One is fat and short and the other, tall and skinny,” she said.

Shortly after they had left, the workmen arrived.

The woman believed the two had not come to rob because they did not take her handbag that was left in the car.

The woman’s husband is away in China on business. Pelawan assemblyman David  Wong  later arrived at the house to offer assistance.
