With the launching its latest outlet in Medan Gopeng in Ipoh, Naza Group plans to open 25 more Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt outlets in the country, bringing the total number to 65 by the year-end.

IPOH: The Naza Group of Companies (Naza Group) plans to open 25 more Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt outlets in the country, bringing the total number to 65 by the year-end.

Naza Tutti Frutti (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd executive director Izham Hakimi Hamdi said at present, Tutti Frutti had 40 outlets comprising one each in Pahang, Penang and Johor while the rest in the Klang Valley, besides three overseas.

“In the next few months, Tutti Frutti will spread its wings to Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei,” he said after launching its latest outlet in Medan Gopeng here yesterday.

Izham Hakimi said Perak was seen as a good market for the company’s frozen yogurt based on the opening of this second outlet in Ipoh after the first kiosk set up in Simee Garden.

Also present at the launching was Tutti Frutti Trading Sdn Bhd’s managing director Nur Diana SM Nasimuddin.

Izham Hakimi said the second outlet – a shop lot – was expected to attract more customers because of the parking space available in the vicinity as well as the longer operating hours.

“We hope there will be more investors interested to venture into business under the Tutti Frutti brand, especially in Manjung and Kampar, while we also plan to open at least two more outlets in Ipoh,” he said.

To start the Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt business, the investment cost would be between RM400,000 and RM600,000, depending on the concept determined by the investors.

Izham Hakimi said to attract more customers, the company would also be adding more favours, including six soon, to satisfy the varied tastes of its clientele.

At the launching ceremony, Naza Tutti Frutti also donated a 12-seater Kia Pregio van to the Siraman Kasih orphanage in Rawang. This was part of corporate social responsibility of the company, which was appointed as the licence holder of Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt not only in Malaysia but also in Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and Brunei. — Bernama
