KUALA LUMPUR: Government pensioners will receive their pension and special payment of RM500 on Friday in conjunction with Aidilfitri.
According to the Public Service Department (PSD), pensioners who are paid their pension under the Payment System Through the Bank can claim their pension at the banks concerned beginning Friday.
Meanwhile, the special payment of RM500 for pensioners announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak last week would be credited directly into their bank account.
As such, those receiving their pension under Scheme B need not fill the pension claim forms at the bank counters, the statement said.
