KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) will offer the demand side management (DSM) incentive to big companies in the State.

Its managing director, Datuk Baharin Din, yesterday said this was in appreciation of its major customers’ cooperation and contribution in assisting the utility company to ease the impact of the power supply rationing exercise.

He said the big companies’ usage of their own generator sets had enabled SESB to distribute power supply to other consumers who had no standby generator sets.

With the big companies’ cooperation, the areas involved in the power supply rationing exercise was not widespread and had reduced the number of consumers affected, he said in a statement.
