WARSAW: Six people were killed in two separate small plane crashes in the southern part of Poland on Sunday night, Xinhua news cited local media reports.
A 42-year-old pilot and three teenage girls were killed when a Cesna 182 plane crashed into a house in Krakow’s district of Nowa Huta on Sunday evening.
Nobody inside the building was hurt; a spokesman from Malopolska province police told the PAP news agency.
In another development, a small plane carrying two men crashed in Witowice Dolne, a village near the town of Nowy Sacz about the same time of the first accident.
The plane was traveling from a local air club in Lososina Dolna.
