KOTA KINABALU: Five men were injured, two of them seriously, when the vehicles they were travelling in collided at the Taman Putrajaya traffic lights in Telipok on Wednesday.
It is believed that the driver of a Perodua Kenari and his front seat’s passenger were seriously injured in the 10.30pm incident.
The driver was cut in his head and face while the passenger broke one his legs. Passers-by took both of them hospital.
The driver of the Perodua Viva car suffered minor injury on his head and was sent to hospital by the public while two passengers in the back seat of the car were not hurt.
It is learnt that the Kenari was heading for Tuaran from Kota Kinabalu while the Viva was travelling from Telipok to Taman Putrajaya when the accident occurred.
All the victims are believed to be in their 20s and 30s.
