KUCHING: Having seen a successful turnout and sales in Kuching for its Icon City lots, Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) is now mooting the idea to conduct another road show in Sibu due to the overwhelming demand from potential buyers.

The exhibition roadshow would be held this weekend on September 10 and 11 (Saturday and Sunday) at the RH Hotel from 10am to 8pm.

Icon City sits on 20 acres of prime land at the intersection of Klang Valley’s two busiest highways – the Federal Highway and the LDP. It is a mixed commercial project with a gross development value of RM3.2 billion to be developed over eight years and is set to change the landscape of Petaling Jaya.

Icon City was conceived with sustainability in mind coupled with iconic architecture and modern infrastructure. The first phase would comprise 30 Jewels (seven- and eight-storey lifestyle shop offices), Central Park, Gourmet Street (single-storey and two-storey retail shops), i-Sovo, serviced residences and office blocks.

Mah Sing’s group managing director and group chief executive, Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said, “Icon City presents an excellent investment opportunity as visibility is exceptionally high due to its prime location. Most investors based their investment decision on location and, indeed, a prime location as Icon City will inevitably continue to appreciate in value in time to come.”

Situated in the heart of Petaling Jaya, Icon City is an architectural marvel and offers a contemporary live, work and play concept within a green and sustainable development. The market catchment is extensive, including matured and affluent neighbours such as Kuala Lumpur, Subang Jaya, Sunway, Shah Alam and Damansara.

“Icon City is poised to be amongst the first in the Southeast Asia to be certified by Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) of the US, Green Building Index (GBI) of Malaysia, Green Mark of Singapore; and be the ultimate integrated development in Petaling Jaya.”
