PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak spent about an hour at the Aidilfitri do hosted by the Education Ministry, here, yesterday.

Najib who arrived at about 1pm at the ministry’s car park area, the venue for the do, was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is also Education Minister, and his wife Puan Sri Norainee Abdul Rahman.
Among the 5,000 attendees were several cabinet ministers, Deputy Education Ministers Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong and Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi and the ministry’s staff.
At the function, Muhyiddin also gave out “duit raya” to 20 students of Sekolah Pendidikan Khas Seremban 1 and 2, Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Sepang and SK Kota Warisan, as well as 20 students of SK Dewan Besar, Kelantan, under the Kumpulan Wang Amanah Pelajar Miskin programme. — Bernama
