SIBU: Kelab KTS Sibu yesterday held a mass blood donation at Star Mega Mall here.
The club’s chairman Benny Lau said the event, which was co-sponsored by Shell, SBFM and Star Mega Mall, was organised in conjunction with the club’s 30th anniversary celebration which carried the theme, ‘We care, We serve’.
Each blood donor was given an umbrella, 20 packets of Mee Daddy and one pack of Rakyat cracker as a token of appreciation.
Among those present were the club’s president Peter Lau, Shell representative Choo Sze Wee and organising chairman Kong Ah San.
Lau said other activities being organised to celebrate its 30 years of existence included blood screening for staff members, health talk, motivational talk, telematch, educational trip to Kuching and visits to the Home for the Aged and Methodist Children Home.
The celebration would conclude with a grand dinner on Oct 29.
