KUCHING: The Blood Bank of Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) needs blood donors to come forward and donate blood to ensure continuous and sufficient blood stock for needy patients.
The blood donation counter at SGH is opened from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4.30pm.
Also, the blood bank mobile unit will be at various locations to make donation (of blood) easier.
The unit will be at Boulevard Shopping Mall on Sept 16 from 9am to 2pm, organised by the Young Malaysian Movement.
Also on the same day and at the same time, another mobile unit will be at the Vegetarian Restaurant, Lot 151 & 152, Lorong Datuk Abang Abdul Rahim 5A (behind Hock Lee Centre)
On Sept 17, from 10am to 2pm, blood donations can be made at Chin Dao Methodist Church, No. 1, Jalan Orchard, off Jalan Song, Tabuan Jaya.
The Federation of Chinese Youth Kuching and Samarahan will be organising a blood donation drive at Hills Shopping Mall on Sept 18 from 9.30am to 2.30pm. Also on the same day, another drive would be held at St. Mark’s Church, Jalan Batu Kawa from 10.30am to 2pm.
