KUCHING: Soon Onn Furniture Trading Sdn Bhd, (Soon Onn) the sole distributor for Gethá mattresses in Kuching is holding a roadshow at the south court of tHE Spring Shopping Mall from September 13 to 19 to promote its new series of latex mattress.
The roadshow showcases the latex mattresses from Gethá. The mattresses are made from pure latex that also incorporate nano silver technology in its fabric.
“The nano silver technology can benefit customers as it functions to wipe out bacteria from the mattress,” said Soon Onn business development manager, Roland Chung.
“The pure latex material does not trap bacteria on the mattresses, unlike mattresses made from foam or spring,” Chung added. The antibacterial function subsequently reduces odour and results in a more hygienic sleeping condition.
During the interview, Chung also highlighted that Gethá mattresses are 100 per cent locally produced using materials sourced domestically. The memory latex fits to the body after time to create maximum comfort.
The bamboo charcoal interlaced within the fabric had antistatic protection to absorb the negative and positive discharge from the body.
Gethá, the winner of The Brand Laureate Awards 2007/08 focuses on driving Malaysian rubber to the world stage through the exports of its bedding products as environmental-conscious consumers inflate the demand for products made from natural resources.
“For its products, Gethá has obtained an eco-certificate by using an entirely eco-friendly process to manufacture its mattresses in a manner that stays true to its pledge to protect the environment and comply to environmental regulations,” said Chung.
A special promotion is also being offered during the roadshow whereby customers will receive a 20 per cent discount in addition to one set of cotton bedspread, two latex pillows and a recliner chair.
