Chia expressed that Sarbex had been a good platform for Amcan to engage potential clients and introduce its new products. This year, Amcan will occupy two booths during the exhibition organised by Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda) for the display of its innovative colour coated products.

“Amcan products are made from 55 per cent aluminium-zinc alloy coated steel that, unlike the traditional pure zinc steel, are more durable in addition to being resistant to corrosion and high temperature,” added Chia.

Heat-reflectivity was also highlighted to ensure its products have the energy-saving effect as one of Amcan’s major concerns was the protection of the environment.

When asked about future plans, Chia revealed that its paint supplier, Becker is carrying out research and development activities to improve the quality of paint used.
