KUCHING: Lee Ling Construction & Development Sdn Bhd (LLCD), a division of Lee Ling Group of Companies (Lee Ling Group) will be participating at the Sarawak Builders’ Expo (Sarbex) 2011 Total Living September 30 (tomorrow) to October 2.

Holding a PPK ‘Class A’ registration as well as a CIDB ‘Grade G7’ registration, LLCD’s principal activities are in property development and construction of residential and commercial real estate zones.

Managing director of Lee Ling Group Roger Tiang told The Borneo Post that the company would be giving special emphasis on the Lee Ling Heights project located at 6½ Mile Jalan Penrissen near Kota Sentosa.

The Lee Ling Heights project, taking up an area of 68 acres, would consist of 190 units of semi-detached double storey houses, 190 units of double storey terrace houses, 177 units of one-and-a-half storey terrace houses and a total of 81 shophouse units when completed.

The entire project would consist of 11 segments, of which Phases 2, 3, 4 were completed and Phases 1 and 5 planned to be launched.

The one-and-a-half storey terrace units would have a build-up area of 1,000 square feet (sq ft) to 1,100 sq ft, consisting of two bedrooms on the ground floor and a master bedroom measuring more than 300 sq ft upstairs.

Tiang elaborated, “These units will have a post-modern and unique design with interesting features, incorporating ‘clean and clear’ motifs, including taller and wider doors for elegance.

“The corner units will be different from the intermediate units with bigger balconies and higher roofs. They are competitively priced with the medium income market segment in mind.”

Located opposite Kuching Sentral with easy access to the main road, Everise, banking facilities, primary schools and Kuching International Airport, these units were planned to be launched before Chinese New Year.

Interested property investors and prospective home buyers were invited to place their note of interest in the one-and-a-half storey terrace houses with the company.

Meanwhile, the company would also be promoting 41 units of four-storey shophouses to be located in front of Lee Ling Heights, complementing 40 existing units in the area. Interested parties were invited to register their names on a waiting list.

The company would also be promoting its developments in the Matang area with the Lee Ling Commercial Centre, adjacent to E-Mart Lee Ling located along Jalan Matang.

So far, 16 units of three-storey shophouses had been built with approved plans to build 11 more units measuring 20 ft by 60 ft.

The company would also be promoting the Lee Ling Villa gated apartments consisting of 176 units altogether with build-up areas of more than 900 sq ft with three bedrooms and two bathrooms each.

Built on three units of four-storey blocks and located near eateries and retail outlets, only about 15 units priced from RM128,000 for intermediate units would be available.

LLCD’s commercial and residential offerings would be showcased at Sarbex 2011 Total Living organised by the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (Sheda) at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.
