TRUE LOVE AND CARE: TCS staff and students after conducting a drawing class with children at Perkata.

KUCHING: The student’s Affairs Department of Technology College Sarawak (TCS) invited several officers from the Visa, Pass and Permit section of the Immigration Department to give a talk to new non-Sarawakian students studying at TCS recently.

The Immigration officer in-charge, Sawiyah Sulehan, highlighted useful information regarding the Student Pass that the students had to apply in order to study in Sarawak.

The students found the talk very useful as it improved their understanding on the immigration demands of the state.

The next day (Sept 23) several TCS staff and students conducted a drawing class with children from Perkata, Kuching.

Through this activity, participants were exposed to the needs of the society around them and learned the true meaning of love, care and appreciation. This in return helps prepare youths who are ready to serve society.

Participants really enjoyed the activity and hoped that they would be able to meet the children at other times, as they were special.
