SIBU: A 60-something woman lost RM14,000 to snatch thieves on Wednesday morning in front of her house.
The woman had withdrawn the money from a bank at Tuanku Osman Road before returning home around 11am.
When she was about to alight from her car to open the house gate, two men on a motorcycle pulled up beside her.
The pillion rider hopped from the motorbike and opened the front passenger door before grabbing an envelope containing the cash, which was on the seat.
The duo then fled from the scene.
Although the victim screamed for help, her family members could only look on helplessly.
According to them, the motorcycle was black.
The woman later lodged a police report.
