PUTRAJAYA: Individuals skilled in a particular field and with a minimum of three years working experience can apply for a Malaysian Skills Certificate to gain recognition.
Deputy Human Resource Minister Datuk Maznah Mazlan said the certificate can be applied online via the ministry’s website www.mohr.gov.my and it will be evaluated by 1,300 government appointed supervisors who are experts in their respective fields.
“I’m confident this move will enable the skilled work force in the country to be recognised,” she said at the 16th convocation of the Human Resource Ministry’s Department of Manpower Training Institutes at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre here, yesterday.
A total of 5,510 graduates will receive their Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas and Certificates
during the three-day ceremony which commenced yesterday. — Bernama
