TELUK INTAN: A Myanmar national, believed to have been murdered, was found with slash marks on his body at Jalan Tepi Sungai, Hutan Melintang near here yesterday.
Hilir Perak police chief ACP Goh Kok Liang said Hla Khin, a fisherman aged 35, was found with slash marks on his body, believed to have been caused by a sharp object. His fellow countryman who had arrived at the scene to meet the victim who had made an appointment to see him, was shocked to find the victim sprawled in a pool of blood, and immediately contacted the police.
Goh said the victim’s body was later sent to the Teluk Intan Hospital for post-mortem. — Bernama
