KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines’ (MAS) travel arm, MASholidays, is offering two holiday packages — Universal Studios Singapore and Kuala Lumpur-Taman Negara — during the current school holidays.
In a statement yesterday, MASholidays said the two-day/one night Universal Studios Singapore stay at Naza Talyya hotel in Johor Bahru cost RM422 per person.
“The package is inclusive of a one-day pass to Universal Studios Singapore, breakfast, transfers from airport to the hotel, hotel to Universal Studios and cross-border return service,” it said.
It said the KL-Taman Negara package included a two-night stay at Hotel Istana KL and another two nights at Mutiara Taman Negara Resort for RM1,390 per person.
“The package includes breakfast and buffet dinner, guided outdoor activities and a return shuttle bus service from Hotel Istana KL to Kuala Tembeling jetty, as well as a return shuttle boat service from Kuala Tembeling to the resort,” it said.
MAS executive vice president, Commercial Strategy, Datuk Dr Amin Khan, said the airline wanted the school holiday packages to be included with family activities and both destinations were ideal.
“With plenty of rides and areas to explore at Universal Studios Singapore, both children and adults can have the ultimate fun experience,” he said.
He said ecotourism has become the fastest-growing sector and was expected to rise at an annual rate of 4.3 per cent until 2017. — Bernama
