LABUAN: A total of 257 summonses were issued in just three hours early Saturday for various traffic offences including drunk driving on this duty-free island, police said yesterday.
Labuan police chief Supt Saiman Kasran said six motorists would be charged in court for driving under the influence of alcohol after they were held under the ‘Ops Mabuk’ exercise.
He said all of them, aged 18 to 45, were being held under remand. — Bernama
