KUCHING: A resident of Tabuan Heights at Jalan Song is requesting regular police patrols in the area following a break-in at her house on Friday.

Wishing to be identified as Madam Ching, the 60-year-old said it was the third time a theft had occurred at her house.

Past incidences saw shoes going missing and her car being broken into.

On the latest break-in, she said she arrived back around 6pm, after having been out since noon that day, to find the side door of her house forced open.

A check revealed over RM10,000 worth of missing items in the form of jewellery, a laptop, five digital cameras and 10 wristwatches.

She said although she had seen police patrol vehicles on rounds in her area, she felt that a more regular presence was needed to curb similar incidents in the future.
