KUCHING: Smart Reader Worldwide held its ‘Franchisee Award Nite 2011’ cum annual dinner for franchisees, principals and teachers at Pullman Hotel on Friday.
The gathering themed ‘Mystery@11’ was a way of showing appreciation for the commitment and loyalty of franchisees, staff and teachers in making the brand a household name, said assistant manager of Aim Smart Academics Sdn Bhd, Norma John.
The night saw the ‘Most Promising Franchisee 2011’ award bagged by a franchisee from East Malaysia for the first time in the history of Smart Reader Worldwide.
The recipient was Evelyn Law who owns Smart Reader Kids and Smart Reader Kids Junior Tabuan Jaya Baru 2 and Smart Reader Kids Uni Garden Samarahan.
Law also received the Gold and Impressive Growth awards.
Franchisee of Smart Reader Kids and Smart Reader Kids Junior Chong Hin Garden Winnie Liong also received the Gold and Impressive Growth awards.
Smart Reader Kids adopts a renowned Smart Reader Creative Teaching Methodology created by Dr KH Wang, group executive director of Smart Reader Worldwide.
According to Norma, in line with Smart Reader Kids’ tagline ‘Ever child’s dream school’, the learning method not only help expand children’s hidden capabilities by encouraging them to explore creativity at a tender age, but also help them cultivate a positive attitude. Smart Reader Kids caters to the learning and play of three- to six-year-olds, while Smart Reader Kids Junior caters to toddlers from 15 months to three years’ old.

As for Smart Kids Junior, the programme consists of joy, fun, knowledge and excitement and among the learning features are techno play, rainbow play, read and play, sound play, fun play and wet play.
