SANDAKAN: Good cooperation from the community is a factor that has contributed to the reduction in the index for violent and property crimes in this district, Sandakan Police chief ACP Rowell Marong said yesterday.
“We hope the community will continue to assist us in reducing the crime cases, especially through preventive measures,” he added.
Rowell said the other contributory factors were cooperation among the government agencies, statutory bodies, the private sector and non-governmental organisations. — Bernama
