BUSINESS AS USUAL: People flock back to India Street, Kuching.
KUCHING: A quick check around the city saw most shops still closed and streets almost empty during the third day of Chinese New Year yesterday.
This was glaring at Padungan and Gambier Street. Small coffee shops are still closed but the major ones and food courts are already open for business.
India Street and Khoo Hun Yeang Streets are busy as usual and people are starting to come back to Satok markets.
Banks and government offices resumed business yesterday, and schools will open next Monday.
