KUALA KLAWANG: Information Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim says the ministry will give financial aid to Sazali, son of film great Tan Sri P. Ramlee.
Sazali,53, has been confined to his house in Semenyih as he cannot walk after a freak accident two months ago.
Rais said he would meet Sazali who lives in Jalan Bunga Raya, Kg Sentosa, Semenyih in Selangor soon to deliver the financial aid.
“We have several funds for financial aid, including the Welfare Fund for Artistes. Not less than RM12,000 can be given to him,” he told reporters after launching a wireless village at the orang asli village in Kampung Tohor Saturday. –Bernama
